hi. a carpenter mate of mine is struggling a little at the moment (along with many other contractors in the building / construction industry) and has just been confronted with a quote for almost £3k to replace a PART on his gear box !
he's got a Vauxhall Movano 2.5 dti with techshift (semi auto type thing) gearbox. turns out its the hydralic actuator (well Vauxhall can't say this will resolve the problem) so van is worth £3-6k in working order, they're suggesting spending £3k which might not resolve the problem any help on this would be much appreciated. second hand parts would be great. |

forgot to say the rest of the van is in tip top condition therefore the preferred solution is to sort and not scrap.
