I had the 3 Amigos on our 2005 TD5

My local Land Rover specialist managed to reset it, they said the valve jams because the ABS is rarely used and they can actually repair it, although ours has been OK so far.

As a bit of an aside to the OP..........
I've had the "Shuttle Valve Switch Failure" before now and even though all the LR blurb says that you need to replace the modulator you can just replace the switches as a unit. At the time I think I paid about £35 for a genuine kit. Discovery II service bulletins give the procedure, there is a couple of places where they fail, one is where the switch kit joins the internal wiring in the pump via a flimsy connector which can be bypassed if you want or, where mine failed which was due to the wiring between the switches themselves in the switch kit. The insulation had become brittle and had degraded allowing water and crud into the wire filaments which in turn broke. I did try re-wiring but I struggled with my soldering skills to join fresh wre to the switches hence me biting the bullet and replacing the switch kit.

Just to finish this post off, took it too another Independent, he brought a specialist in £350.00 done, including the independent? what a difference in price. 2005 TD5 90 CSW XS
