2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black

Transfer box speedo drive

Help! Trying to change the o ring seal on the speedo transducer. 2015 2.2tdci. Managed to remove the electronic module easily (8mm bolt). but the main body is still in the transfer box. Please can someone tell me how this comes out?

Not sure if its the same as my lt230, but there was a ridge all round the transducer container thing. I got a screwdriver and used the ridge for purchase. Wasn't easy to be honest.

this sits in to hole with the speedo drive gear with o ring and small seal fitted inside AAU23404

You will find that its corroded in place ( steel and aluminium )

Thanks for the help. I did wonder if it was a case of gently levering it out
I will give it another go at some point.
