Hello Dorset smith sorry do not know your first name. Thanks for the drawing much better than mine.
I feel it of an idiot now, but it was the red wire broken. I could not figure out why I had 12 volts on each leg. But it appears that the switch puts an earth on and allows the current to flow one way or the other. Got it working now and just to put it all back together. Thanks for your help.. I take it you have a proper workshop manual. |
