Roll cage size issue

Hello All,

We just bought 3 safety devices roll cages with my friends for our Defeneders. As I started to assemble mine, seems that sizing is not as exact as should be.
The internal diameter of the bigger tube is basically 39 mm on the top of the A-bar, and the smaller one that is supposed to be inside it is also 39 mm externally. Wall thickness is 4 mm everywhere. On the underbody mount internal diameter is 37,5 mm, and 38 is the one that is supposed to be inside. Wall also 4 mm.
Exchanged a mail already with Safety Devices, no suggestion yet.
Is there anyone who met this issue before?

Safety devices, whilst supplying kit that's no doubt in the top of its pricing bracket..... Are without exception in my experience very helpful when you have a problem. There's a few of us with cages on here but I had them fit mine so have never looked.

See what they say they know their stuff

I'm not sure I understand which parts of the cage you are referring to.

It is feasible that SD use different diameters for different elements of the cage, but I don't recall an "A-Bar" at all or another bar that goes inside it?

We also don't know which design you have - there are many for Defenders, but as the other poster said, SD are really helpful and will get to the problem if you persevere and have patience with them.
