Hi all
If converting from a R380 to HP22 (from a D1) box on a Defender 90 what's involved in the way of mounting brackets? Cheers Rich |

Used an Ashcroft kit to fit a 4HP22 to my 300TDi 90 (replacing the R380) and it bolted straight in with no fettling required.
You are not too far away, if you needed to have a look around underneath to see what's what then let me know. ![]() ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ONE LIFE, GET IT! |

Thanks guys it certainly looks do-able without too many issues.
Doesnt look like it will go ahead though. I was going to buy an unfinished project - galv chassis, axles, suspension, 300tdi engine inc V5. Turns out nothing is from the original car so cant see how I will register it, dont want a Q plate. Rich |
