Hi Martin, Many thanks for this list. Do you have one for the 300Tdi? Also, has the link for Diff/transfer case and gearbox oils been posted? Kind Regards APK MY2016 110 Adventure Corris Grey MY1997 110 County Station Wagon 300 Tdi Alpine White |

I used Castrol Edge Professional C1 5w-30 fully synthetic in my 2.4.
Meets ACEA C1 Jaguar Land Rover engine oil specification STJLR.03.5005. Suitable for use in 2.4 and 2.2 with DPF, it’s what JLR use. The good thing is, that it’s backward compatible with the 2.4, and fully up to spec to use on a 2.2 with DPF. Eric on here, had his 2.4 into JLR and they used the above as it’s higher spec for an 2.4 and now used for both the 2.4, and 2.2 with or without DPF. It’s one of the higher spec oils, and isn’t particularly cheap. It runs really nicely, I did my service a week or two ago with genuine service parts. You may be able to find it on Amazon? If not, Opie Oils with discount code ‘DEF2’ for forum members, there is no doubt other site sponsors that I would imagine stock it too. I used to use Fuchs also good, I thought I’d go over to Castrol, as Ford commonly use it and is a typical associate with Ford TDCi motors. I shall be moving over to Castrol professional, diff oil, transfer box, MT82 (GL4 spec).etc in due course. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |
