£3600 tow bar !
nearly choked on my breakfast this morning. in the Sunday Telegraph Honest John replied to a letter on why it costs £3600 to fit a tow bar to a 530d, X3, X5 or an X6.

it seems these vehicles can't just have a tow bar fitted and need a gearbox oil cooler, ECU updates and other 'stuff' done before you can use them as a tow vehicle.

has BMW gone raving mad or don't BMW driver ever tow?

Why does the X5 have no recovery points front or rear?
Is it supreme confidence or supreme lunacy?

seems like those BM engines are being worked very hard then in their current states if they require modificationsto be allowed to tow.

I wouldnt like to have that on my mind!!

Better not put any passengers in them, might blow something up!!! Current:D4 HSE
