At least dji has a fairly good database of where you can / can’t fly, for example stadiums airports etc my drone won’t even take off in these zones

Figured that out in The Bahamas, our company’s private respite is near the flight path for Freeport airport...

It highly depends on the country too, IIRC drones are banned in Egypt and a tourist recently got arrested for flying his drone to shoot some footage of his holiday... Defender 130 HCPU Td5 MY2000

The DJI App will only prevent you taking in off in the predefined airspace / sensitive areas its programmed to recognise.

In the UK our regulations mean you aren't allowed to fly within 150m of any 'congested' area which is defined as any area of ' a city, town or settlement, any area which is substantially used for residential, commercial, industrial or recreational purposes'. (So pretty much a good chunk of the country!)

Also banned in Morocco - which is a shame as you could get some great ariel shots there! Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

We use a DJI Mavic air when on holidays abroad & the Inspire 2 when planning something 👍
