Yet another person without the slightest common sense, and no doubt an insurance write-off.

What a knob! I hope he gets prosecuted.
Is it the same vehicle as in the ford incident above? |

Why would it be a write-off? I have had mine in water deeper than that with no ill effect. It is not a Defender, it is a One_Ten |

What a complete idiot, he absolutely deserves to be prosecuted for driving like that . He can’t possibly have seen the cyclist with that ‘stern wave ‘ in his wing mirrors. https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/

I doubt that you've left yours parked for hours with water up to the steering wheel though. That vehicle will be comprehensively flooded and no insurance company would pay the labour and parts costs of returning it to pre-incident condition, it simply isn't worth it. It's not clear to me what engine is in it, but if it's Td5 or later there will be electrical issues. Every oil-filled component will be contaminated as will the fuel system. If the owner was competent it could be sorted by him/her, but if the owner was driving in the video and at the ford then I feel it is entirely reasonable to question their competence. I did wonder if it had been stolen. |

What he should have done is towed that little red car out and every one would have thought him a hero !
