Well I can now give an opinion on both. I’ve got standard height comfort springs from alive and had them for both sets of dampers. The fox is defiantly a more comfortable ride at low speeds. Speed bumps and ruts in the road etc are much more bareable, but don’t be expecting a Range Rover! If you like to drive fast, then these are probably not the dampers for you and the B6’s would be more appropriate.

The Fox’s are much softer, and possibly a bit wallowy. I may well end up fitting the update d ARB over the standard, but will see. B6’s are stiffer but still more compliant than standard. Off road, first impression are the Fox’s give better traction over B6’s and definitely over standard.

Is it worth twice the price? Depends on what you want from your landy I suppose. For me, a steady driver that never gets over 60mph and is never in a rush; definitely. If you like whipping down country roads and tight bends, stick with the B6’s.

Decent review Co1. Also mirrors what others have told me.

I'm happy they have worked out for you. WARNING.

I have also had both B6s and the fox fitted with the Alive standard comfort springs but I also had the uprated Alive ARB fitted.
in both cases.
I have found the high speed handling with the fox to be equally as good as the B6 but as stated the fox are more compliant over small bumps so the best of both worlds.
In my opinion Installing the uprated ARB is one of the best mods you can make to improve on road handling and virtually eliminates the wallowing Co1 mentions.
Even with standard springs and shocks the uprated ARB is a great mod for road use. 2016 Defender Landmark 90

Is the uprated rear ARB also a good mod for the 110?

I take it it's the Eibach one on the Alive site?

Thanks a lot MJN, I thought the spending had ceased for a while at least; it hasn’t even stopped for a week yet and now this!!
