I have sent a letter to Adrenalin4x4 (have no other contact details!) to ask when a pedal lock will be produced for the TDCi with Air Con - just prefer it over the other makes!. Will keep you posted Thumbs Up

I think that we should have a list of ALL the major companies out there that do not reply to emails.
Its one of my pets hates especially as i used to have to drive half way round the countryside seeing clients and then have to clear my emails in the evening.

Though might be quicker to list those that can actually be bothered to check their emails!! Whistle

Many of which advertise in the major LR mags!

Do what i do - send the email and then call them after 24 hrs (or just phone them!) or vote with your feet and use another supplier it is not as if we are stuck for choice.

Now stepping off my soap box Rolling with laughter

Have fun

Mark

What's the matter with Fekete's link? If you're not getting any responses....I think it was a good spot and reading the write up think they may be better engineered anyway!!!

"Please be aware this device as deeper folds than the locks that ADRENALIN are selling. We do not need to add extra weight to the device as adrenalin have with the new side plate's on there pedal locks. Shirefabrication got the design right 1st time 5 years ago so we do not need to bring out a mark 11.The steel as been shaped perfectly to help eliminate cutting through the brake pedal to remove the security device!!!"

Nobody said anything was the matter with Fekete's link Confused Fekete has linked to his lock before which I thanked him for and it looks OK Thumbs Up

"Make your own minds up?" Without meaning to sound obtuse, we obviously already have k9 Thumbs Up I do prefer the Adrenalin one they get very good feedback. Apparently someone on this forum knows the guy who makes them and said he was going to produce some soon, just wondering how long it will be. If it's likely to be 6 months away I will go with Feketes one Thumbs Up

Zag,

Products may be great, but customer service from the lack of response is a joke!!!!

Maybe Andrenalin have got a valid excuse for not getting back but you have more patience than me. There is absolutely NO excuse for poor customer service in my book. You had the decency of sending a letter over 2 weeks ago and no response? Hope when you do get through they value your loyalty with a decent discount. They should do!!! Agreed it's not good, he's a nice bloke and a one man band by the sound if it who only operates through E-Bay BUT YES responding to customers enquiries is sound business practice to say the least Rolling Eyes

I have to agree with K9F, I've tried a few times to contact him but no luck.

I'm not keen on the green one like DG's and to add to the complications I have LHD ... spoke to Pete (Nak) he's keen to do something, might be worth waiting?

The one i've got is top of the range and very well made.... As K9F says its the mark 1 no need for a mark 2 and no need to add extra weight..... also if you deal with him out of ebay he will knock a tenner off ?.... if you still want to go with the other one because some one on here knows the guy carry on and wait for the next 12 mouths or longer Wink Also what will happen if the device goes wrong if he will not reply to Emails Whistle NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. Having mulled the topic over and asked a few questions I'm stuck.

Before placing an order for a pedal lock - who should I deal with - Life is too short to be dealing with traders that allegedly don't respond to emails, deliver poor customer service or whose products aren't the best.

Appreciate some feedback from those with experience.

Hi Cuthbert,

In the end Zagato did indeed get a response from Adrenalin and lots of us (myself included) ended up with a group buy. It was worth the wait, great product well-made and my truck hasn't been nicked yet!

Thumbs Up
