Yours is already considerably better than mine...... Yes you can spend hours and hours jiggling them around to improve but frankly, it's low on my priority list.
Also you'll start to notice nothing is symmetrical... Enjoy owning one, it's like stepping back into 1950's motoring |

If that's worrying you, you are in for a rocky relationship
They are imperfect, that's the charm, but yes as said above you can try adjusting for a closer fit |

Try adjusting the striker. Think it will need a torx driver.
