Is this New Defender the Princess Cinderella of today?

When I look back over at least the 20 years of motor shows, Land Rover always putted the new models on first place... and somewhere in a dark corner they even had...one Defender. Just in case somebody might had interst in it.

All attention was focussed on the new, high tech SUV, sport, power, fancy models.

But today at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the all new Defender seems to be the Princess Cinderella.

Suddenly al these cheap bloggers, influencers and intagrammers have only good words for the New Defender. Where were they when we all loved the Defender for many decades?

Just a princess Cinderlla story?

Well, you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find prince charming ... so hope the new vehicle lives up to expectations and not revert to a pumpkin at the stroke of midnight,
Not many of the new vehicles have been given a real road test, so all the report are mostly based on the specifications ad blurb that the writers have been provided with and a short drive around a selected course.

I like the vehicle and hope that sleeping beauty will blossom into a lovely fairy tale ending !

Sadly my pot of gold isn’t that big, so need to find the end of the rainbow to be able to but one ... but dreams some times come true !

It will be interesting to see once launched just how different people feel about it having seen it in the flesh so to speak. 2015 HT XS 90
