The hazard warning switch has replaceable bulb, why not these? 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

You can buy the LED’s, carefully take the switch apart and solder the new bulb in - T3 LED bulbs is what I used |

I bought some off eBay like this
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10X-T3-1-SMD-12...FCpwmvblKg The above come in the black plastic holder as shown but you remove that (easy as they aren't soldered) Dismantle the switch - iirc a gentle prising open works Desolder old bulb (sorry if this is teaching to suck eggs) but led’s need the correct polarity to work so i then put the switch body back in the defender and carefully make a note of which way around the bulb needs to be function (dont short it) Remove the switch from defender and shape bulb wires to fit Resolder, reassemble , refit and you are done The challenge you have is that ‘white’ varies across. manufacturers so they will differ in brightness - so suggest you buy a few (20) and then depending on how OCD you are replace them all at once or over time as they fail (then at least you will be using the batch etc) Hope that helps |
