Right I'm not a happy man having to advertise our loved RRC. We all love it, ticks every box and does every job we need it for. Iv got 4 classic Landrovers in the garden all kept garaged and hi level of maintenance kept immaculate.
Trouble is we just bought 110yr old Church of Scotland house needing full restoration. We are living in the caravan in the garden and it doesn't have a garage so my LRs are now for the first time outside and getting no love or maintenance and I pretty hacked off as the missus has asked to sell, hmmmm ! Enough of the soppy story. Last yr of manufacture, soft dash, 1off yr Avalon blue, 98000miles. All the usual British Leyland trim and switches, dark leather. 11 months MOT , every certificate and invoice since new. Clean throughout and of course turns heads everywhere. That's it. Anything else just ask. £12000 Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Last edited by keith on 2nd Sep 2019 9:14pm. Phew, £22K! Really?
I'd better look after mine, Avalon Blue like Keith's but still on its air-sus and N prefix. Yours is lovely Keith and I know how you feel. When I moved house 8 years ago, I was not happy about leaving it outside for ages while I had to get not only Planning, but also Listed Building consent, before I could build a shed for it. Good luck with selling it, and I hope that that you don't look back on the sale with regret for ever. (Is there really absolutely no alternative?) I still love mine and after 20 years of ownership I hope I never find myself in your situation. Click image to enlarge But am currently going through divorce! |

Oooooh I'm gonna regret it. It's not financial and It's my RRC No.2 . First was a long wheelbase 4.2 which I miss dearly and shouldn't have sold. Everyone wants a classic but I'm Not greedy and think 12 - 15 is the right price just as long as it goes to Landrover enthusiast and looked after. I already have a 1978 in storage with the outlook of 2 yrs fixing this old house.

Very sad but just no time anymore. 2 other LRs is enough to look after. As long as it goes to LR friendly owner.
