Thanks for all the input chaps.

The co owners both have special talents. One is a gifted and time serviced mechanic. Myother mates Dad owns an engineering firm for long forgotten motorbikes.

He has a full welding suite plus bays for such work.

Me - i make the tea and operate anything that requires a box of magic trickery as the lads call it. I call it a computer with internet.

I have already downloaded its Military B cards can confirm it came into service early January 1980 so combat will be joined with the DVLA for Tax and Mot exemption. Even though we will get it to MoT standard.Its former TA vehicle by the looks of it.

I have sourced the original NATO paint code and a supplier.

If you wish i can keep you abreast of its progress on here.
