Having said that, I believe its a Disco lump, as the turbo is high up, I believe the Defender 200 tdi engine had a much lower turbo mounting.
I recon it could have been transplanted from a damaged 200TDI defender, or they have used a few odds and sods from the Turbo diesel, Some stuff is crossref we have found with my dads. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
