An exceptional collection - Bonhams Auction
Coming up in Bonhams September auction at Bicester is a truly exceptional collection of SF Landrovers, the collection I believe of Barry Poecock (well known in military vehicle circles). If you have deep pockets you could have a field day.

Included are two 1968 SIIA Pinkies, a 1998 V8 armoured media 110, three genuine ex-SAS SOVs, and a Dinkie.

The lots 194 to 204 are the relevant ones and well worth a look, if only to feast your eyes on the beauty of a set of exceptional, perfectly restored, and fully equipped vehicles.

I can only imagine what a wrench it must be to sell a collection like this.

I have to say I could be tempted by the Wolf 90 winter/water version with the Penman trailer, it has only done 353km so unlikely to have had any immersion in salt water.

Isn't it missing the tailgate bracket for deep wading?

I've always been interested in the N reg SAS Range Rovers.

Nice to see one for sale, and in Avalon Blue like mine.

Even though I realise it is the SAS connection that enhances its value, it will still be interesting to see what it fetches.
