Australia 2014 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 SW Keswick Green
REB500200 REB500220 Puma front coil spring rates
Hello all, I done a search here and everywhere looking for the Load and Load Rating of the REB500200 / REB500220 Puma Defender front springs but all I seem to find is the same basic info copied on every Forum.
I’ve found the colour coding and free length, they are - (200) Red/Green/White 370mm and (220) Red/Green/Orange 380mm
This info is easily available for the older springs eg:
NRC9446 Blue/Green 15.19” Load Rating 175lb/inch (load 819.96lb)
NRC9447 Blue/Yellow 14.80” Load Rating 175lb/inch (load 819.98lb)

Anyone know or can point to a link which the Load Rating lb/” and (Load lb) at all?
Regards, Rickoz.

Rickoz, are these new part numbers not just superceding the old ones?

that is, isn't REB500220 just the new part number for NRC9446?

I'm sure you've seen this site, with the various part number and info? http://red90.ca/rovers/springinfo.html --

Sorry I don’t know I did think this could be the case for half a second but why change the model numbers & colour codes.
I have just counted the coil numbers & the NRC’s are 7.75 coils & the REB’s seem to be 7.00 If I’ve counted correctly.

Yep that the info that everyone reposts but that doesn’t tell us the lb/inch or the Load

The table on the red90 site that crops up a lot is, unfortunately, quite old. As such, it doesn't cover the newer spring markings and ratings of Puma-era vehicles. Darren

^

indeed, and none of the online shops list that info either.

Neither does the workshop manual, and I doubt the dealers will even understand the question Rolling Eyes --
