On route to Devon for 8 days
Me and the other half our going to devon/cornwall this week camping for 8 days! Any suggestions of places to visit with landy interest please? 2007 2.4 90 fettled & remapped.

lost gardens of heligan near st.austell, Eden Project, Fowey, Plymouth Barbican area, Charlestown has some nice foodie places and has been used countless times as a film set with the old harbour and square riggers. Thumbs Up 2015 HT XS 90

Not too challenging but park at the visitor centre in Princetown then take the walk out of the Town following the old railway line towards Plymouth. Kings Tour Quarry is worth a look you can find stone railway tracks and parts of London Bridge carved out but never used... 2010 XS USW

Thanks for the suggestions, greatly appreciated. Not sure ill be doing loads of walking now.....I managed to stick a six inch nail through my foot last night Big Cry Laughing 2007 2.4 90 fettled & remapped.

Sorry to hear about your foot ! ouch!

Well if you get to the SW ... Bude is just along the road from Holsworthy and has some lovely beaches, nice food places and is very landrover friendly ...

You can park in the town and not have to walk very far, or park offload on in the grass carpark next to the Beach at Widemouth and watch the surfers.

It's Bude lifeboat weekend so there will be events all day bank holiday Monday, SAR helicopter display, evening fireworks etc ... so plenty to do. As well as being Cornwall Pride this weekend with a whole day of events it Truro on Saturday,...
