Hi Guys, I've done just that, the winch fits in a T Max winch mount that plugs into a 2" receiver.
I got some box section and made the front receiver picking up the 2 bolts each side on the chassis rails where the steering guard mounts and also added 2 more bolts through the bottom of the bumper. You can just see the receiver socket below the number plate. The winch mount is secured into the receiver with a 4" long 3/4"dia tractor pin as I didn't like the 5/8" pin that came with the mount. Click image to enlarge The winch is wired with 50mm² flexible cables via a 350A Anderson connector under the bonnet, with 50mm² cables back to the battery through an isolator. The winch has a stall current of 400A so even the 350A connectors could fry!! While the bonnet is open to connect the winch, I jam a wedge into the throttle linkage to raise the idle, also the open bonnet allows the engine heat to escape and protect the windscreen from flying winch gear I have a height adjustable tow hitch, so I've modified a spare slider into a rear receiver so the winch can be mounted at the back. I can get some pics tomorrow of the rest of the set-up. winch mount - https://bearmach.com/quick-mounting-set-ba-2665 Anderson connectors - https://www.altecautomotive.co.uk/anderson...5937-p.asp |

I used to run a demountable front or rear system on my 110. It's sat in the garage for a while now. All came new from frogs island. Cradle with male 2" , female dixon bate slider, and front female mount. If it's of use make an offer. Pm me if interested. Cheers

The set-up worked quite well and I managed to extract the Ninety complete with empty trailer one wet soggy January.
As for the tyres.... they were fairly new Discoverer STT's, not much good when clogged with mud Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |
