Evening all. Had to have the EGR valve replaced and it looks like my Alive remap has been overwritten by the standard LR one they were running diagnostics after fitting
Can anyone recommend the best 'add-on' ECU box? Thought I might try this route for performance upgrade to prevent same happening again? Not sure which ones are any good though. Any advice gratefully received as usual. P. ------------------------------- 👲🏻 1986 ex-Military 90 NAD 2.5 Soft Top. Sold 🇬🇧 2015 Defender 90 - Ripon Landrover Heritage 006 |

That’s a bummer.
I think Bowler’s Stage 1 gives you a new ECU. I think. Alternatively, can you not just buy a replacement ECU and send it to Alive if you were happy with their remap? Sure they’d pop it on for you. And obviously both Alive and BAS have their remote remap tools. That way you always have the map and can reload it/adjust it etc, whenever and wherever.
