That's very kind windy! glad to see my GCSE in English is reaping some rewards. I'm very pleased with it, though it seems nearly every mod I have done so far has had its own set of nuances. Certainly learning heaps.

It's been a little while since I posted last about Dwayne. Namely because I haven't really found much I'd like to upgrade with my current funds and I've just enjoyed being rattled about and spending way too much money on Diesel.
Christmas rolled around and I was surprised with a new set of LED headlights and sidelights. My OCD means I was never quite happy with the LED bumper but halogens so I wanted to complete the set. These are from Powerful UK. I genuinely can't believe it - an upgrade to dwayne that has actually gone as planned. I had the old headlights whipped out, and the new ones in within an hour. For information - I used a scotchlock to splice the angel eye into the sidelight connector. I really like them, the headlights are nice and crisp. For anyone wanting some WIPAC crystals I'll be putting mine up for sale soon (by for sale I mean basically given away). I'm also in 2 minds about the spots .... might take them off - what do people think. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Thanks Clayton! Was a pleasant surprise that for the first time since I've had dwayne that an upgrade has actually gone to plan.
I'm erring towards removing the spots, and maybe putting a different grill on. I really like the look of the A-bar though so I think I will keep that. Given I now use the LED bar in place of a main beam the spots don't add a huge amount of practicality. |
