Hi Darren that would be a simple question to answer for sure as there are lots of people on here who have fitted the the optimil number plate camera and jvc head unit combo from mud ...if there is anybody on here who has fitted the same combination and does not have the annoying look with your eyes banner would like to comment i would very much appreciate it .......... i have searched many posts on fitting the very same combo i have and im sure they would have mentioned the warning banner as its so distracting .....they dont so thats why i think its a fitting user error on my part.

I have the JVC head unit and the JVC camera. No reverse wire connected, no banner.

Based on my experience with various other reversing cameras, Id believe the overlays to be applied in camera. Sometimes there is a wire loop you can cut to get rid of them at the camera end.

Camera is connected to ignition live in the rear and then video line is run to the head unit, nice and simple!
