[For Sale] Sankey Trailer Frame FV2420 Airportable
Sankey FV2420 Trailer Frame £500 ono.

I originally bought this as a base for a camping trailer but a change in circumstances means this will never happen.
It is the 1ton trailer airportable bridge version which does not have any bodywork on it.
The brakes have been overhauled with refurbed cylinders and drums and new shoes.
The handbrake has not been re-connected as the plan was to add one which acted on the hydraulic brake system.
The electrics all work off the nato spec (13 pin) socket.
NATO swivelling tow ring.
The rear light bar is detachable.

These are excellent trailer bases. Many years ago I bought one of these and used it as the basis for a huge camping trailer to tow behind the 101. It was basically a caravan except with barn-doors and a ramp at the back for motorbikes etc. Eventually I sold it to a guy to use as an extra bedroom for his house. I'll dig out some photos.

[edit] I think I've also got the FV2420 design drawings somewhere too if they're of interest
