Managed to pick up a Superwinch Husky 8 and a Warn 8274 locally tonight for £100 the pair. The Husky is missing the plastics but seems in good order (apparently had a new spur and worm gear) but paint is scabby. The 8274 looks like an old model (although i know nothing about them) and the bush/needle bearing behind the brake drum is totally knackered but it does have a new looking DB Bowmotor 2 fitted!
I should still have a few spares left over from my own Husky rebuild Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |

Not really sure to be honest. As they were only 1/4mile from home I couldnt pass them up. I will rebuild the Husky whilst the parts are (hopefully) still available.
Not sure about the 8274. It might be past economical repair looking at the price of spares, so I might just sell parts off. The Bowmotor should be worth a bit. Cheers Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |
