To diagnose where the fault is:
Is the motor on winch turning.. You should feel some vibration when touched by hand. That will determine whether engagement clutch is working. Feel the hoses to see if they have flow, then you know if the pump is working or not. Hope this helps narrow it down |

Bowrope doesn't degrade with sunlight. It's colour changes but properties don't. Cheers

Thanks guys - I work professionally with ropes and wires so prefer to change what looks like a degraded rope before it parts, it also has signs it has absorbed fine sand or grit after i’ve Used it in Mud and that has started to chew it internally so it is passed its best after 5 years use Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

I would slightly 'crack' the hoses firstly on the solenoid block to check for fluid flow
