Complete mirrors
Ok all

Mirror arms are a bit crappy now, so want to replace. I've done a forum search for the best ones (Britax OEM?) but can only find them online for 70 quid each!

Any ideas as to a cheaper supply or alternative that doesn't vibrate or fall over at the warp speed my 2.4 achieves? 2.4TDCI 90 - everyday brilliance

Take a look at these, just bought some - they are as described. Used original mirrors.

So I had to look at Optimill - £250 for a pair of mirror arms, that's a bold price. Of course would need their matching hinges for another £250. So 500 notes for new mirrors, Mrs M90 what are your thoughts? 2.4TDCI 90 - everyday brilliance

As one who didn't fancy paying for the originals I went for the cheaper options. I wasted my money they lasted for less than a year, wagon coming in the opposite direction caused a pressure wave that slammed the driver side one back, it never stayed in one place again, passenger side folded in at 40mph two weeks later. I then bought genuine long arms and bigger heads, they have large towing mirrors attached and never moved.

I took the cheaper version apart and everything inside is and everything looks cheap and substandard and have no grease. Don't make old people mad.

I rang Dan At Duckworth's for the genuine parts. Don't make old people mad.

Yep, don’t waste your money on cheap alternatives. Buy cheap, buy twice.

Buy original from LR, Wolf ones (RRC8443), are longer and (I think) best. Then bigger mirrors from AGM, U7196. Done once, happy. BTW Bearmach arms wobble and sh*tpart arms and mirrors don't last. I know as it cost me.

This is what you are talking about. The best mod I have done great for towing and while I thought Grand Aero mirrors were great these are so much better. And what's more, altering the mirrors takes 10 seconds so no more faffing about with towing mirror clamps.
