Suggestions of camp site in Devon or south west
Hello, I am going camping at the end of August i was originally going to head to Doone Valley near Exmoor! I have decided against this due to the last time i was there it was me and my shadow Fred the dog, due to him passing away i don't think i can bring myself to stay there just yet (i'm soft i know).

Ideally i am looking for a more back to basics site that will allow fires and wont have every kid on the planet going mental or late night parties Any suggestions please? 2007 2.4 90 fettled & remapped.

United Kingdom 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Orkney Grey
Used this last year... http://www.campsiteslizard.co.uk/welcome/
Quiet and slightly off the beaten track. Quirky but friendly
Used this last year too https://oceanpitch.co.uk/on-site/
Great site, not sure about the fires tho. Superb location, and excellent local pub Smile Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

My young son and I took the landy here a couple of weeks ago. It was a great campsite, but I can see it being rammed with kids during peak times.

United Kingdom 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Montalcino Red
Can recommend this place http://www.westcountry-camping.uk/

Stayed here few years back whilst out walking, and being on the far end of the Hartland Peninsular possibly wont be quite as crowded with families.

Dont allow ground fires but are happy with braziers/fire pits being used (also have some for hire).

Can recommend the Hartland Quay Hotel as a place to visit for refreshments as well Thumbs Up 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone
2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone
2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW
