Overall height - hard top vs soft top

So, if I convert my 200tdi 90 to a full canvas top will it be same height as the hard top, or higher, or lower

Thinking about garage door clearance . . . . . . . . Rob

1993 200tdi 90 hard-top
1998 300tdi 90 soft-top
2016 2.2 XS 90 hard-top (sold)

I've been here recently, see my '84 Ninety thread.
Soft tops are taller than hardtop/truck cab as the hood frame is a constant curve to stop water pooling. I changed to soft top and increased tyre size at the same time and ended up having to change my garage door and frame. All sorted though relatively easily and having a soft top is brilliant

The side opening up-and-over door is pure genius

Soft top conversion possibly now back on track

I had to remove the interior handle of my up and over door, I just linked the cables with cable ties.
