I’ve run Odyssey’s for ages. Find them great batteries. Used and abused. Once a year disconnect them and put a ctek charger on and that’s it.

Either batteries are ok even a normal agm will do the job .The trick is to put back what you take out quickly, so charging system prob more important that battery type . Get a good dc dc charging system like red arc or ctek with smart pass think national luna now do dc to dc system too, then pop a solar panel on system , 200wat if you can .
If however you don’t use much power a normal tmax / durite solenoid switch and large solar with mppt will cope. 👍 Work out how many amps you will draw per hour then select charging system that can deliver it , Good agm or gell battery with dc -dc and solar is the fit and forget option . Have fun be happy |
