Found this evening ....was parked up at the end of a housing estate in Dunboyne a man waking his dog saw the message on Facebook and phoned it in .
The ignition lock was smashed but other than that looks to be ok....the thing is it was locked when parked up which is odd cause I have the only key and fob. Anyway delighted to get it back... Nidge |

Brilliant news you have it back very lucky indeed.
I guess they had to lock it incase some scumbag tried to steal it from them, wow what an irony that is. Can you depress the door lock peg inside and then push the outer button to make the door lock as you close it? 2015 HT XS 90 2008 SVX 90 2000 XS TD5 90 |

I'm so glad you've got it back!
It is as easy to lock without the key as it is to unlock without the key, shocking really for a modern vehicle. |

I am so glad that yours was found in one piece nidge, its sicking feeling when your pride and joy gets taken, remember when mine was taken from us this year. Found a matter of days later burnt out, with in 2 miles away from me.
All I can say is get a removeable steering wheel on her like I have done on this one. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |
