1995 Defender 90 300 Tdi HT Barolo Black

Rock sliders to original sills

I have searched on the forum but can’t seem to find a thread that fits.

Currently, I have rock sliders fitted to my 90, that sit within the tubular jacking points, I want to remove these and go back to the original style door sills and a set of side steps.

I can’t seem to find a list of parts required to do this, can anyone point me in the right direction?

YRM metal solutions do a nice one piece replacement sill. I've got them on my 90, looks much neater than the standard 2 part affair

The YRM ones do look great, I have seen them when I’ve been searching for the bits.

Are they relatively straight forward to fit and will they support side steps?

They're a one piece version of the originals but made of thicker aluminium. Fitting is a doddle. I think you'll find the side steps aren't supported by the sill cover but the inner sill/floor support

I take it the YRM sills just affix to the sill supports? These won’t have been removed to accommodate rock sliders will they?
