Yes it is a great show. Highly recommended as you see companies which are not widely know in the UK.
There is an off road course for the little ones. 2 euros for 3 rounds of the course, compare that to the average childrens entertainment at a UK event. Ray, I do not know what sort of extra large Yorkshire palace you own but some of these big boys extra big toys will set you back half a million quid and that is for a second hand one!

That for me was one of the slightly frustrating bits of the show, it does seem to be very much geared up towards the bespoke build camper market- there was A LOT of extremely expensive gear there. We got a few ideas to develop our 110, but mostly the stuff on sale was well beyond any kind of value I could ever aspire to. The main think I took from the show was how much I want (and will also never afford.....) a G-Wagen. The Abenteur 4x4 'Otto' special edition is an absolute thing of beauty. It was definitely worth a visit, and maybe we will do it again in a few years time but I won't be rushing back next year. Chris |

This was my second trip to Abenteuer Allrad, well worth the journey!
Did try to catch Brendan and Barbara on the Friday and Saturday but you were both busy bunnies! Spoke to Peter from Nakatanenga, I'm so impressed with their stuff. Booking the ferry for next year! Sandy |

We weren’t busy bunnies on Saturday- we went down into town for the annual show shopping expedition. Friday Bren was doing the rounds of the show. I was probably chilling out the back under the awning with a book. For next years trip if we are not visible on the stand just pop round the back and knock on the oztent.

The show changes from year to year. A couple of years ago there were a lot of demountable campers, this year there was a lot of camp kitchens. Last year there was a camp kitchen for 7,500 euros. Yes 7 thousand, 5 hundred euros, (that is not a mistake) it was a beautiful piece of furniture and the pans and knives etc were top notch. That trader was not there this year.
It is not a typical Land Rover show as we know in the UK. Everything from a small gizmo for a couple of euros up to a fully equipped big boy toys expedition truck for over a half million quid. There are historic vehicles there up to the latest ones available. This beautiful series one from 1949 was at the show. Now I would love to know the history on this vehicle. Made 1949 but first registered 2010 so where was it for the first 60 years of its life?? Now there were some small vehicles at BK as well.
Yes this is a wooden frame motor bike and yes it is a working motor bike.
