landrover 109 What do you all think of this one?? For:Ex county council fire service. Low miles. Straight panels. Patina. Cute front. Against:Needs bulkhead and rear crossmember possibly chassis. Should it have a two piece cat flap rear door. Parked up for most of its life, lack of use. Price too high to begin with. Following the expense of replacing/repairing the bulkhead and other repairs you are still left with just a van. |

That is a lot of work and is only worth saving if you want to save it. The idea that it's got a 'good chassis' given the extent of corrosion visible is laughable.
It's unlikely that it ever had a cat flap and tailgate as the rear door looks like it's part of the livery.. It looks like it may have had a pump on the front bumper and so probably had a first response tank in the back.
