Hi all
I would like to move my motion detector sensor from its position in the Right side of the roof lining to above the driving mirror (like in the double cabs and ‘vans’ ) ... From the look of it the distance is about the same from the A pillar so before I go and start making a hash of it ,.. has any one done this before ? if so - how is the detector fitted on the back ? many thanks in advance ![]() Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 ![]() |

Cheers Dan ,,, was it just a’pull gently’ sort of thing or did you need some brute force and tools ? Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html

Hi Hank
I have seen them just above the mirror before but that may have been in a modified one .. the pick ups are generally there. ![]() Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 ![]() |

Spring clips either side. Just pull it out gently with your hand.
