Everything now sold
Woke up one morning and thought, yes, I’m doing it!!! I had been mulling over the idea of swapping the 90 for a 110 on and off for the past year. The trouble was my 90 was just so nice I couldn’t bear to part with it. Then on here I saw a wanted ad. That focussed my mind and as a result, this coming Monday my beloved 90 is going to a new owner and later than day I’m picking up the replacement 110. Anyway, enough of my ramblings! On with the advert... A few things I bought for the 90 to get rid of.... 1. (Sold) A pair of Uproar4x4 stainless steel rock sliders for a 90. Still full of brand spanking newness, having never been fitted. Finished in satin black powdercoat . Were approx £350 new. I’m asking £200 plus carriage. Replacement filters are available in blue or amber from Devon 4x4 and probably other outlets too. Some information about these incredible lights here:- https://www.lightforce.com/AUS/striker-hid-driving-lights If you can get hold of any new, they’ll cost you around £200 each. I’m wanting £190 for the pair! p&p extra. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge 3. (Sold)A pair of 90 bumperettes in black. Heavy and solid and obviously up to the job they were designed for. Bought from another forum member but never been fitted. Some minor surface corrosion as seen below so would benefit from a clean up and touch up. £30 plus carriage. This really has been my OCD in overdrive as I have modified them to improve the basic design. Inspired by the infamous Hannibal rack, full length aluminium bars have been professionally welded onto the legs to better support the weight of the load and rack on the roof gutter. I have incorporated 4 instead of the standard 3 legs each side. These support bars make mounting and dismounting the rack onto the vehicle a one man job (due to a cunning method I came up with! The rack bed itself was in good condition with only the odd paint chip. I have touched these up. I have also fitted brand new rubber trim on the support rails. These have been primered in U-Pol, then a top coat spray of black truck bed paint. The wind deflector has seen better days to I had it shot blasted and powder coated in texture black to match the supports and the rack. All fasteners, grub screws and washers are brand new stainless steel and finished off with black plastic covers over the nuts. (Not all these were fitted when I took the photos). The rack sits approx 25mm higher than the standard Flatdog to alleviate the difficulties fitting roof tents/kit with the limited clearance underneath the slats. I am also including a brand new never been fitted rear RAX rail and an almost new ladder with no wear. This is the latest Flatdog legal version that does not obstruct the rear number plate. Also 2 brand new Flatdog spotlight brackets. For all this I’m asking £500 collected. Happily will give you a hand mounting it all to your vehicle. (Sold) Caranex H4T Awning (Car Annex). The condition of this is a bit suspect as there is some discolouration and in parts some of the interior fabric coating has cracked. Consequently I can’t guarantee it’s still waterproof. However might still be a useful bit of kit as a day shelter for cooking and storage etc. Might be absolutely fine after treatment with a proofing product but I’ve no time to try it. Hence going cheap at £30 collected which includes footprint and free standing kit. Capable of wirelessly uploading photos direct to your smartphone/tablet/laptop etc. Bought earlier this year and used only a couple of times. Boxed with user manual, documentation, wrist strap, charger and lead. On sale in Argos for £179.99. I’d like £90 plus postage. I'll have the Caranex and the Lightforce lamps if you could post them both (at my cost obviously).
