Twisted 2.2 is cat back only.
Their 2.4 and Td5 versions are full exhaust systems with no cat and choice of 1 or 2 silencers. All 2.5" with 3" finisher. Allisport definitely worth a look. Or Griffin if the budget won't stretch that far. |

Hmmm, I don't think I'd want to go without the CAT.
Thank you for the info though. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

What Zed said. It’s DPF back, so original DPF then 2.5” all the way through with a 3” tailpipe. At anything up to 3000rpm it is no louder at all inside or outside. It gets a bit throaty after this but let’s be honest, once the foot is buried that hard you’re not worried about the noise! Does make me wonder why on earth LR wasted money on the 2 original silencers? I was tempted to cut one open to see if there was actually anything in it but gave it away instead.

Filled up for the second time this morning since changing the exhaust and I’m actually getting better fuel economy with it! This is despite opening up the throttle more regularly to listen to the roar!

That’s probably because it can breathe easier, with less output flow restriction. I expect the factory silencer has some kind of baffle in it.
This obviously causes a slow down of escape gasses thus a restriction. Have you done the air box mod too? ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

Yes, did the air box mod about 6 months ago but still got the RAI to take off to open things right up.

Good work. I found the opposite with fuel consumption after fitting. What map are you running? |

Interesting your mpg has improved Col , mine has since the intercooler and remap up by 2.3mpg (I have to record all my mileage and fuel usage for work so know it to a decimal place)
Hearing your mpg improvement has tempted me even further who knows one day I could get the same mpg as Caterham but then Zeds has gone down I'm still very very tempted 2015 HT XS 90 2008 SVX 90 2000 XS TD5 90 |

I’m pretty sure my right foot is responsible for my MPG.
Also in summer I have the air con on constantly. I doubt I’ll get Caterham’s figures even when I switch motors to EV.- |

If ZED has a reduced MPG aircon as he said or implied is likely the culprit.
Much the same applies with a high electrical load on the Alternator too, that can reduce MPG also. Use the Millers Diesel additive all the time too, that'll add to it. I've got mine about the best I can MPG wise, but I do keep the CAT in my case as factory fit. Removing Snorkel or RAI will have extremely little or any difference really, BAS tested this. The pipework however can be. But I do have factory fitted sealed pipework on mine. The SS exhaust is on my list at some point. Did you know Alive do a finance option too should anyone need it. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

I use the millers on every tankful which is every 2 days at present
I must admit the Alive one is my preferred at present only because I have been very happy with all their our products and excellent customer service. I can't believe between all the named exhaust companies in this thread that there can be much variation to be honest, price wise all very close, quality wise they are known and respected so I guess it's down to personal choice. 2015 HT XS 90 2008 SVX 90 2000 XS TD5 90 |
