New wolf XD springs on the 110
My 110 is quite lardy (and that's not just when I'm sat in it! )
Has an ex military heavy duty armoured chassis (galvanized) and full external cage. plus plywood and cowmatting inside.
I've got 110 HD (aka 90 standard rear) springs on the front which give a good ride height with 235's, and on the back I've always had station wagon springs with the extra HD inner smaller coils.
These give a lovely ride, but the vehicle sits "flat", I like the slightly higher rear end.
So I got hold of a pair of wolf XD 110 military springs. Some people have said that these when new are really hard, and even on a 130 ambulance they're hard (although that's a LOT of weight, I can't see how that would happen... same part number for the springs 110/130)
Anyway, these were used, so I got them shot blasted and powder coated; look like new now.
Along with a new pair of OME dampers for the rear as I had a temporary set of standard oil filled ones in there, I now have 4 matching dampers... and the handling is lovely!
Ok it's a bit harder, but nothing bad and I like the feel of it. and I got about a 2" lift which gives me the stance I like....
