How could that be the REAL new Defender,...the front of it is far too low, ...first time off road it'd be smashed to pieces?

Yes, and it looks like the arches are full wing / quarter panels. So any damage - oh dear.
Probably priced at about £650 per wing or more plus paint as well $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

It's way, way more than that at a dealer for a wing for the current Defender! Shocked

Perhaps they're plastic on the new one (probably biodegradable too).

Plastic wings are quite cheap, especially the ones from your local council.

The problem with that ^ is for second-hand buyers.

They think the vehicle is cheap to buy (ignoring the reason!) and then get a nasty shock when they go to get it repaired or serviced.

My local Independant gets a lot of this.

The customer gets the bill and says: "HOW MUCH!!??" Big Cry

Then say: "That part for my Ford didn't cost anywhere near that!"

The Indie is tempted to say "So buy a Ford....."

We have just written of a 110 SW Defender that had a light roll onto its roof. The reason it was written of was:- A Parts too expensive and B Parts not available with no indication when/if they will become available.
We have replaced the 110 SW with a Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3.2, its a bloody nice truck TBH 130's have feeling's as well you know Smile
