For sale today is a set of 5 x Terrafirma Dakar wheels (made by Evo Corse in Italy), complete with General Grabber A/T tyres in the largest standard size for a Defender (265/75 x 16). These are similar to the Blindo wheels, have a load rating of 1450Kg, and are also used interchangeably with Blindos on the Army WMIK defenders.

They have been on my truck for less than 3 years and 25K miles and were nearly new when I bought them. The visible outer part of the rims is undamaged with some minor brake dust contamination. All tyres hold air without any leakage. 4 tyres are in decent condition and have between 7 and 9mm remaining tread, evenly worn and the spare is unused. They will be supplied with a set of wheel nuts and locking bolts. Wheel nuts are notionally black but have a lot of missing paint but in decent condition (also less than 3 years old) other than missing paint. Manufacturer web page for the wheels: http://www.terrafirma4x4store.co.uk/Land_R...lack_TF105 Ideally for collection from near Amesbury, Wiltshire area, can also drop off anywhere between Amesbury and Bicester but am happy for a courier to be sent with a pallet. I am under no time pressure for collection providing a suitable deposit has been paid. Any questions please ask. Asking £600 o.n.o. |

For those wishing to see tyre condition, see pictures below:-

Certainly they are not for those wishing for the Carlos Fandango look. Click image to enlarge |

Diesel Jim - I'm switching back to my Wolf rims and XZL tyres as I no longer do many road miles and need MT tyre capability reasonably often. I had kept my previous set from 2 years ago. The other advantage is that my penman trailer runs identical rims and tyres.

Just to add to the description that these wheels have only been cleaned with a degreasant so the brake dust contamination that you can see remaining would benefit from Wonder Wheels or similar treatment.
I had run out of it at the time hence them remaining a bit grubby. |
