2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Santorini Black

Puma steering box

Hi All,

I have a 2007 defender puma, my steering box has a bad leak, when looking at replacements there is 3,4,6 bolt steering boxes. I have no idea which I have, is it dependent on year, spec?

If anyone knows either; how to find out or just knows which the puma defenders have it would be greatly appreciated.

2002 Defender 110 Td5 DCPU Keswick Green

If you look at the top of the box from under the bonnet you will see it will be triangular (with three bolts in the corners), square (with four bolts in the corners) or hexagonal (with 6 bolts in the corners).

I am 99% certain it will be a four bolt version though (also often referred to as Adwest lightweight) as all of the other versions I have seen on much older variants.
