In honesty if you're just wanting a winch for occasional recovery, and a bit more confidence if out somewhere on your own, pretty much any cheap modern winch is going to do the trick.
If you have a more specific requirement, let us know? And something appropriate can be suggested. There is no need to blow loads of money on a winch if you're barely going to use it. My 90 has a Warn 8274 on the front which is totally fantastic. The rear of that vehicle has a Goodwinch TDS 9.5 on a Dixon tray. My 110 has a brand new Terrafirma winch on the front which I got as a 'cheapy' for the odd self recovery, ancillary use. It did the trick and got me out of a hole on Sunday. Not with the same ferocity as the 8274 I'm used to. But absolutely fine. And a third of the price! |
