Hi folks,
Just as the title says, I've got to the stage where I'm hoping to rebuild the doors and get the car "wind and watertight" .... and before anyone else says it....yes, as wind and watertight as a Defender ever gets! I'll start with the 2nd row. Any hints and tips? Particularly to do with getting the glass in, as I've found that the most awkward when stripping the doors. Is there a proper sequence to do things? Easier with the doors on or off? I guess I'll get the quarter-lights in first, then the glass, then the glass channels.... and from there on I wouldn't have any concerns. Just in case anyone else has any hard-won lessons I could benefit from! This is the state of one of the doors I stripped today... in a bad way.
