Just make sure you use a plastic primer. Wipe down before spraying with an alcohol wipe to remove dust and muck. Spray in a warm room, not outside in the cold. Build up the layers slowly. Do a test spray to get a feel for the rattle can.

Or you could use Panel wipe, go slow on plastic though to avoid static as it is prone to that.
And as mentioned plastic primer is a must, a red scotch pad to key the surface before priming is ideal. You can do a guide coat too before flatting the primer prior to base coat too if you wish. This gives you the perfect finish. I also like to wipe off any wipe residue once dry too, as this can be present so I tend to panel wipe then when flashed off dry wipe off lightly. Tack cloths are also good too have. I use all Upol mainly for the above. Should you get any clouding in clear coat. (Excess humidity when spraying - try and avoid!) A heat gun carefully used will often draw the moisture out to full gloss. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

If you are looking repainting black plastic I would recommend Buzzwelds Plastic in one.
Really simple: clean, key, (clean again) and spray. http://www.buzzweld.co.uk/pio.html I used it to redo the front grill and light surrounds! I recently painted a couple of light surrounds to body colour and was pleased with the result after using plastic primer bought from Halfords. It's strange stuff though; it comes out as a sort of mist that remains slightly tacky until coated with regular primer. Darren
