How many brand new ones do you want?

You can buy them here in French, in German, or in Italian. Laughing
Those asking prices you see here by the way once were about 50% higher, but these spec owners who thought to make a killing with buying and later reselling these Autobiographys missed the point that this version turned out to be the least popular of the three end of production limited editions here in Switzerland. Virtually no takers for this type of bling here in this country. The Heritage and Adventure models in contrast sold like hot cakes.

The satin finish was not to my taste ... the black top was a very metallic finish that looked good but the satin was only ‘ok’ to my opinion, but thats not a negative comment, just not my style.

(I had a stronoway grey for 10 yrs and never liked the colour ) Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html

Switzerland 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SVX Station Wagon Santorini Black
Several of those still for sale brand new here. Below link to one of those offered by a main dealer. From the beginning the Swiss market did steer away from the Autobiography edition, while the two other final editions sold like hot cakes. Our importer misjudged the Swiss market’s taste, they initially got 60 Autobiography editions allocated as per their request, but quickly had to scramble back when they saw the rejection to that version here, and renegotiated that quota downward with Solihull. I know of only one Autobiography that got sold here in Geneva, to a Middle East national. In all of Switzerland never seen an Autobiography on the road or on a Land Rover event. Sharp contrast with the Adventure and Heritage models which you see daily. If interested in a brand new Autobiography in that marvellous Shocked gold tone, go for the one below I would say, or for a few others that are still offered. Asking prices remain high, but after all this time wouldn’t be surprised if a bid wouldn’t be welcomed. Talking with others here comes back to always the same conclusion. You don’t want to be seen in a truck like that.

I don't think Switzerland was particularly unusual in that regard. It appears to have been the least popular final edition model everywhere. Darren
