A few more details about it when it went Landrover 110 Defender TD5. Utility model, 2 door no side windows. Blue in colour. Full length galvanised roof rack. Spare wheel on roof held with orange straps. Ladder access is on off side. Chequer plate to wings and sills. New rear cross member is apparent, painted black. Damage to near side front bumper is apparent. Bull bar fitted. Apparent that it is only fitted with1 bolt either side. |

Any news on your cousins Defender Siwynne?
Was it recovered? I hope it was and was intact. Very (too) close to home. |

It’s gone. No news
There was another taken on the same night from the bescar brow area at the back of Scarisbrick hall. The owner challenged the scumbags and was hospitalised for his efforts. |

Yes I saw something on FB about the owner tackling the thieves. It's not a clever thing to do but in reality it's just a gut reaction as the adrenalin kicks in.
In a village near us last week two animals stole a Mercedes and when the owner tried to intervene they attacked him with a machete and hospitalised him. Fingers crossed your cousin gets her Defender back. Defender 90XS SW Mini Countryman Cooper S Morgan Plus 8 |

Agreed
Then bury them using a 30t doosan digger while the local Bobby looks the other way. They will never be found. Ever😉 |

It's now getting even closer to home! I think that the subsequent suggestions of burying the perpetrators will be universally accepted, with quite a number proposing that they remain alive whilst doing so. Not many Bobbies around here these days to turn a blind eye... |

Poor sod. That's the thing though isn't it. it's very easy to be brave on the internet saying you would do this and that but if the toerags are prepared for trouble or perhaps you're not as young as you think you are, like this chap you could come unstuck. Hope the owner recovers soon. |

Just had a text to say that this has been recovered. It was on false plates in the L10 area between Aintree racecourse and Kirkby. They do not have it back yet as it is the police compound over Easter weekend but wait and see what damage has been done.

Good news indeed I hope no damage has been done to it. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..
