I don't know where you would find a vid, but is very simple, and straight forward.
You will have to remove the gearbox cross member to get it out tho. Andy |

Yes you do! Unless you wish to take drastic action and cut the old exhaust out....the decat pipe can then be manipulated into place without unbolting the gearbox cross member. (I didn't cut mine out but I know a man that did!). On the Puma the decat being the size of an immersion heater I needed to slightly apply pressure with a jack on the gearbox to give me the extra couple of millimetres room to facilitate the 'cat' removal. Box o' spanners and a couple of hours it should be done whatever method/approach you take. Good luck! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Did the man that cut his exhaust have any problems as a result?
I had mine changed for me, but I didn't bother to keep the CAT seeing as it wasn't / isn't an MOT requirement... Had I realised that cutting out the old exhaust would've had a go myself... .... probably |

None whatsoever, but considering the cat has quite a monetary value even as scrap I have kept mine intact. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

It is generally accepted that removing the cat and it's associated restristive characteristics this will allow your turbo to spool up quicker and give you more 'grunt' at lower rpm. My backbox also got canned. The difference to me was quite noticeable. Exhaust tone is notably different and with a lifetime warranty on the exhaust system I need never worry about shelling out in future.
