Yes it was quite surprising. I also took the one ton out for a play which is in another vid. 2011 110 USW

I was a bit more inspired with the 1 Ton video, I never quite know what to do with the 110 for social media, as its a sort of nice but not especially interesting vehicle. I remember going to that C&M meet and not one person photographed it, but they did for every other vehicle there. :/ 2011 110 USW

Yeah I quite like that its 98% standard, most folks enjoy (and can afford) to bolt on allsorts of kit. All mine does is get me from A to B in style really. I'll get some more videos if/when I can actually make some worthwhile journeys. 2011 110 USW

Yes it's a bit strange with traveling at the moment to do any videoing and sounds good with the A to B traveling in style Clayton.

With my IIA turning 52 yesterday I realised I don't actually know the build date of my 110. It passed into my ownership on 25th May 2011 so presumably was built a few weeks before, but can anyone find out or tell me how I can find out please? 2011 110 USW

So there I was, ten years ago, on my 30th birthday, checking out my brand new 110 (I actually took it home a few days later, on the 25th). Today is my 40th and the 110 is still on the drive, done a little shy of 98000 miles, no major problems down the line, still solid...looking a little tired in places but I'm thinking of giving it a refresh this year... Well done LR, I got a good one it seems! 2011 110 USW 1973 Series III 1-Ton 1972 Series III 1-Ton Cherrypicker 1969 IIA 1-Ton 1966 IIA 88" |

Nice video on the 110 and agree with you on the regular servicing, every 6,000 miles for me and a belated happy birthday Clayton.

Click image to enlarge Gained a bit of minor damage off road today, cracked number plate and twisted sill. Also snapped a mud flap bracket. Does anyone know where I could get the plate reproduced, with all the details on? It's the original so I would hate to have to have a generic one on there. Sill will have to wait, will probably get it replaced along with the wing that has badly faded. Any suppliers of genuine front flaps that don't charge a kidney?
